Prosy Group LLC, trading as Yozo Press, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. That means we decide how and why your data is used.

• Name and email — to receive your pitch, link it to your account and send decision notices (contract performance).
• Pitch details and uploaded files — to review your submission (contract performance).
• Login details — to give invited authors and staff secure access (contract performance).
• Messages and attachments sent in the Authors Portal — to communicate with you (contract performance).
• Technical data such as IP address and device information — to keep the site secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).

• Service providers who host our website, database, file storage and email delivery.
• Our invoicing and payment provider, when you are invoiced for a paid service. They process payment details under their own privacy policy.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

We keep submissions and account data while you have a relationship with us and for up to 3 years afterwards, unless the law requires longer. After that we delete or anonymise it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Authors can make a request through the Authors Portal.

We use encryption, access controls and private file storage to protect your data. Only our staff and editors assigned to your pitch can see it.

We only use essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
